Okay so we all know about the big controversy revolving around people wearing Bindi’s as a fashion statement. I’m writing an article about this and would really appreciate your input on this subject. It doesn’t need to be about bindi’s explicitly it could be about cultural approbation in general (e.g/ native american clothing headdress, aztec prints, henna, kimonos, etc.)Do you think it’s cool or totally unacceptable? Thanks.

Either leave me a comment/message or shoot me an email with your answer at riotvioletlee@yahoo.com

  2. spacira said: I think it’s cool if people understand what it is exactly and know what it represents and that it has spiritual significance. Just wearing it to be trendy is a bit annoying
  3. der-holle-rache said: these sorts of things are less of a definite YES or NO and more of a spectrum depending on the level of cultural/religious significance and level of oppression.
